Scope & compliance statement. This curriculum teaches piloting, airmanship and observation camera craft only. It contains no instruction on weaponisation, payload release, or offensive employment of unmanned aircraft, and none will be provided. All flight training is conducted under KCAA approvals through our approved training partner, within Kenyan law. Enrollment is restricted to verified government, defense and licensed private-security institutions under a formal Memorandum of Understanding.

Entry requirements

Institutional clients only: national security agencies, disciplined services, or licensed private security firms — verified authorization letter required.
Trainees must have completed DroneVerse FPV Foundations (or demonstrate equivalent acro-mode simulator proficiency in an entry assessment).
Formal MOU covering trainee vetting, training scope and lawful-use undertakings.
Cohort size: 4–6 trainees, two certified instructors.

The four modules

Module 1 · Week 1

Precision Proximity Flight

Objective: consistent, repeatable control within arm's length of structures.

Simulator: corridor runs, doorway thresholds, stairwell ascents/descents
Micro-drone (whoop) flights in the netted facility: window entries, hallway transits, room-to-room navigation
Hover precision under time pressure; recovery from wall-wash and prop-wash turbulence
Assessment: indoor precision course, timed, minimum 90% gate completion

Module 2 · Week 2

Degraded-Environment Operations

Objective: full capability when the easy aids are gone.

GPS-denied flying: everything in full-manual acro — FPV quads have no position hold, and this module makes that a strength
Low-light and night-operations technique — only under a KCAA night-operations approval via our partner
Video-degradation drills: flying through static, multipath and brief signal loss; disciplined abort criteria
Radio discipline in congested spectrum; channel planning for multi-drone environments

Module 3 · Week 3

Observation & Camera Craft

Objective: bring back usable imagery, lawfully.

Stable observation orbits at varying radii and altitudes
Framing and holding a static subject; smooth reveals and pull-backs
HD recording workflows, footage handling and chain-of-custody basics
Legal module: privacy, surveillance law and use-of-imagery obligations in Kenya

Module 4 · Week 4

Crew Operations & Assessment

Objective: operate as a crew, not a hobbyist.

Pilot / visual-observer / mission-lead roles and standard radio calls
Mission planning: site survey, risk assessment, airspace check, contingency briefing
Scenario exercises combining Modules 1–3 (daylight and approved low-light serials)
Final assessment: planned, briefed and executed scenario flight + written exam

Certification: DroneVerse Advanced FPV Operator (Defense & Security) certificate.

Delivery & logistics
